what is kinning? ask 5 people and you'll get 5 different answers. if you don't already know, don't worry too much about it- but here's how i define it for myself:

when I kin a character, it means I identify with them very strongly. casually, I may refer to these characters as "me," but I don't literally think I am these characters. while the multiverse/past lives theory is compelling, and does align with some of my existing spiritual beliefs, the idea I was my kins in a past life isn't integral to me actually kinning them. in essence, these are just characters that mean a lot to me and have helped shape my identity!
